Two New Additions to the ECG Team

Exit Consulting Group is pleased to announce two new additions to our staff:

 

Nathan Weber is our new Director of Finance and officially came on board March 18, 2019.

Nathan knows corporate finance from the inside out.  He is a seasoned business executive and CPA who brings over 25 years of professional experience from the business consulting, corporate finance, and public accounting perspectives. Nathan began his career as an auditor at Deloitte, and continued on the consulting side as a valuation analyst for an international consulting firm. He has held executive leadership roles at the highest levels for public and private entities ranging from pre-revenue to over $500M in annual sales. His experience spans a wide range of industry sectors, including ecommerce, manufacturing and distribution, software development, retail goods and services, bio-technology, healthcare, broadcasting, media and publishing, online media, oil and gas, drilling and exploration, hospitality, real estate development, family enterprises, and professional service firms.

Nathan understands how to work with controllers and help owners piece the details together to create the bigger picture and works with clients in areas of financial management, accounting functions, financial reporting and projections, across San Diego County.

 

Prior to his financial career, he served honorably in the United States Navy, principally at NAS Miramar, where he earned the Navy Achievement Medal for professional achievement. In addition to his corporate finance and consulting roles, Mr. Weber also serves on several corporate and not-for profit Boards as a Board Member/Trustee, Finance Committee Chair, Audit Committee Chair, and Treasurer. In particular, the not-for-profit board work has proven to be one of the most enlightening and rewarding of his career.

Lynn Stone joined us as a Senior Consultant on April 1, 2019.

Lynn understands businesses from the owner’s viewpoint.  Lynn owned a company, with a partner, who transitioned out of the company.  She and her partner designed and brought to market an asset & inventory management system for law enforcement & other government agencies.  Once she took control of the entire business, Lynn grew the company and brought it to the point of successfully negotiating a product acquisition to a larger company where she remained on board as the Product Manager.

Lynn understands entrepreneurs and their unique perspective on the world.  She manages investors and knows her way around venture capital.  Along the way Lynn consulted with various small businesses assisting in their startup processes utilizing Quick Books and other tools.  This included training personnel, direct bookkeeping, and data review and analysis .

Prior to her business-owner years she was a Special Education aide, assistant to a #1 Real Estate Agent in East County, and a volunteer for a Foundation benefiting children. She is the proud mother of 2 adult sons.
